It's 1960 and change is in the air. Looking to hone her act, comedian Midge Maisel finds a gig with total creative freedom. Meanwhile, in his new position as a theater critic, Midge’s father Abe must review a new musical written by a friend. The show, set at a Catskill’s resort, features “only one decent song” that keeps getting repeated over and over and over again.
